The Most Important Decisions Happen in the First 24 Hours

What you say can be used against you

Statements to police, investigators, or even family members can become evidence. Stop talking.

Missing court dates compounds everything

A warrant, a contempt charge, and revoked bail follow quickly. Small problems become serious ones.

Early representation means better outcomes

Hiring a lawyer early often results in reduced charges, lower costs, and more options — not fewer.

The prosecution starts building immediately

The minute you're charged, they're gathering evidence. You need someone building your defense at the same time.

If you've been charged, arrested, or are under investigation — stop talking to law enforcement and call us. We move fast.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. A misdemeanor conviction goes on your permanent record and can affect employment, housing, professional licenses, and firearm rights. The stakes are real even for lower-level charges — and early legal intervention often means better outcomes or outright dismissal.
No. You have the right to remain silent, and you should use it. Politely decline to answer questions and ask for a lawyer immediately. Nothing you say will help your case at that stage — it can only hurt it.
Not necessarily. First-time offenders often qualify for diversion programs, deferred prosecution, or suspended sentences — especially for misdemeanors. The outcome depends heavily on the charge, the facts, and the quality of your defense.
Misdemeanors are generally punishable by up to 1 year in county jail and fines up to $500. Felonies carry more than 1 year in state prison, larger fines, and long-term consequences including loss of voting rights while incarcerated and loss of firearm rights. Some charges can be reduced from felony to misdemeanor with the right defense strategy.
A warrant is likely already issued. Do not ignore it — it won't go away and can result in arrest at the worst possible moment. Call us first. We can often help address the warrant and explain the situation to the court before you appear, which significantly improves how it's handled.
We offer flat-fee pricing for most misdemeanor cases so you know the cost upfront. Felony cases are priced based on complexity — we discuss it openly before you commit. We work with clients on payment plans when needed. Start with a free consultation.
